Weekend links

The majority of the weekend has already been spent cheering on our athletes in the Sochi Winter Olympics, my favourite games.

We’ve caught Olympic fever early this year, and already the living room is a chaotic mess of tumbled blankets and quilts, stuffed animals, and empty popcorn bowls from our frequent camp-outs. I’ve learned to let it go; it’s not like we get to watch winter sports performed at this level of skill very often. It’s guaranteed to be a great set of games!

Giveaway results

  1. Thank you so much for the link love Aimee!

  2. We, too, have Olympic fever at our house!

The kids and I made bobsleds for our Duplo people the other day. We have paper chains up and a medal tracker on the wall. I’m making a curling cake this weekend. I LOVE it!

  3. Yay! Thank you! :o)

  4. Games are really interesting, no one will not turn off their tv’s on that season. There is nothing new in that and everyone make different types of snacks. Anyhow thanks for sharing your experience during Olympics. Keep posting such a nice posts through your blog.
