Sunday feast: our new weekly ritual | Simple Kids ~ I’ve been thinking about bringing back Sunday dinner – like how it was when we were kids – and loved reading Jaimie’s thoughts on the very same subject.
Smoky Roasted Tomatillo and Tomato Salsa | Foodie with Family ~ I have yet to have a salsa-making party, but when the time comes, I’ve settled on Rebecca’s recipes. She’s been silently seducing me with her Instagram images of rows and rows of perfect salsa.
Light and Crispy Waffles | Food & Wine (by Pam Anderson) ~ Noah requested waffles for his birthday breakfast past, and I turned to the pros, having sampled Pam’s most excellent waffles at BSP. Needless to say, they were a hit.
78 Ways to Enjoy Fall Produce | Life as Mom ~ Not that you need any more encouragement to stock up on crisp apples and brightly-colored squash, but maybe you’re wondering what to do with pears or sweet potatoes. At any rate, Jessica has your inspiration.
Pumpkin Whoopie Pies (grain free, gluten free) | Deliciously Organic ~ I had leftover pumpkin and cream cheese frosting from Noah’s cake, and so whoopie pies were enjoyed this week. I won’t be sharing a recipe, but this one from Carrie should suit you just fine.
We have three winners for the Unofficial Downton Abbey Cookbook giveaway! Congratulations to Barbara V, Suzan N, and Camille Gabel! Ladies, you have been notified via email.
Have a great weekend!

Love roasted tomatillos mixed with tomatoes in salsa. Can leave you with a too-dry salsa if you’re not careful, but you nailed it here. Cheers!

Those pumpkin whoopie pies sound awesome! I think we’ll have to give them a try very soon
Thanks for the kind mention of Simple Kids, friend.
Best wishes!
